Gentil is a high end men’s clothing subscription brand, marketing quiet-strength masculinity through the hybrid of traditional and contemporary influences. I developed the logo and corporate identity. The Gentil color palette comes from modern architecture’s combination of cold, highly textured concrete and the warmth of amber in fire and decoration.

The lines on their letterhead are meant to evoke textiles, and originally came from a tartan. This level of refinement came from taking the original ideas and stripping them down one layer at a time until only what was necessary remained. All pieces are meant to be printed on a warm linen paper.
