"I've never felt so comfortable in front of a camera" -Jay

Neurodivergent and LGBTQAIP Ally

No matter who you are, or where you come from, I will do my best to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera or even forget the camera is there. Which sometimes involves talking a lot, or hilarious shenanigans.

I am trans, non-binary, and pansexual. I strive to be anti-racist. I’m ADHD, and work to be a good partner to my Autistic wife. And when I make mistakes, I am always willing to listen and learn.

Because I’m not a full-time photographer and use photography primarily as a supplement to my other work, I will give preference to people who click and really want to work with me, specifically. There are a lot of amazing photographers in Gainesville, and I’m more than happy to give you a referral if I’m unavailable or not the best fit.

I love every aspect of photography from staged fashion and food photography to off the cuff, but I think I do it for the unexpected: the way an image can come together in a way you could not have planned for. The project closest to my heart, however, is my documentation of trans happiness in the ongoing e-zine Our Bodies Possessed By Light (link).
